Florida state law requires that puppies sold must be at least 8 weeks of age and be accompanied by a Florida Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. The puppies must have been examined by a licensed veterinarian, must be free from external and internal parasites, and must have received their first vaccinations from the veterinarian.
Our charge for health certificates includes the physical exam, first shots, and fecal exam (for internal parasites).
We recommend that breeders deworm puppies weekly starting at 4 weeks of age, with the final deworming to be administered within 48 hours of bringing them for their examination at 8 weeks.
